She was born October 1, 1929, in Nappanee. As Marilyn Miller she married Roy Pfeiffer on July 29, 1956, in Nappanee. He survives with two daughters, Janice Hayden, Villa Park, Illinois and Beth Pfeiffer, at the University of Illinois; one son, Stephen Pfeiffer, at Gallaudet College, Washington D.C.; two grandchildren, and one brother Keith B. Miller, Elkhart, Indiana. Memorial services are pending. Mrs Pfeiffer was a graduate of Manchester College and did Brethren Volunteer Service in Alderson, West Virginia, Federal Women's Prison. She had lived in Illinois since her marriage.

  Notes	(1) Fred and Helen (Pfeiffer) DeMien: Unknown newspaper, unknown date: MISS MILLER SAYS VOWS IN CHURCH Nappanee, Indiana - At the close of the morning worship service Sunday (07-30-1956) in Nappanee Church of the Brethren, marriage vows were exchanged by Miss Marilyn Miller and Roy Pfeiffer, who had attended the worship service with their attendants, Miss Elaine Johnson, Paxton, Illinois, was the bride's maid of honor, and Wayne Gablin, LaGrange, Illinois, the bridegroom's best man. The pastor, Rev. S. W. Loungnecker, read the wedding service in the presence of the congeration. Mrs. Longenecker played the organ selections. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Ralph Miller, 602 E. Market St., Nappanee, and her husband is the son of Mrs. William Pfeiffer, Nappanee. The bride was attired in a street-length dress of white nylon trimmed in lace, with which she wore all white accessories. Her small bouquet was of white roses centered with orchid gladioli. following the ceremony a dinner was served to 40 guests, including relatives and a few close friends in the bride's home. Mr. and Mrs. Pfeiffer were both graduated from Nappanee High School. Mrs. Pfeiffer was graduated from Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana. Mr. Pfeiffer was graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington. The couple will reside in LaGrange, Illinois. (07-27-1956).
