He lived in the vicinity of Wyckoff, N.J. He married 30 Nov. 1728 (banns 12 Oct.) at Passaic, Elizabeth Thomasen Van Riper, daughter of Thomas Jurianse Van Riper and Jannetje Straetmaeker. She was born 4 April 1707 and baptized 13 April 1707 at Passaic. Source records covering this family are scanty indeed and land records do not help.
