  Notes	(1) Source: John Lewis "Jack" Frost . (2) Message posted by Katherine Cornelius to the Frost Family Genealogy Forum on July 9, 2000: Rowland Frost and his brother Joseph D. Frost had died by April 18, 1835. Information in the Missouri Intelligencer - April 18, 1835 states: "Notice is hereby given, that the undersigned obtained letters of Administration from the clerk of the county court of Boone county, dated April 13th, 1835, on the estates of Rowland Frost and Joseph D. Frost, deceased. "All persons therefore having claims against said estates, are required to present them to the Administrator within twelve months from the date aforesaid, or they may be precluded from any benefit of said estates and if such claims are not exhibited within three years from the date of said letters, they will be forever barred."
