At the age of six years she moved with her parents to Toledo, Ohio, later settling near New London, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Joseph Franklin Hale, December 1880, who preceded her in death August 24, 1927. To this union six children were born, R. W. Hale of Enid, Mrs. J. B. You cannot say, you must not say
That she is dead, she is just away!
With a cheery smile and a wave of hand
She has wandered into an unknown land,
And left us dreaming how very fair
It needs must be, since she is there;
So thinking of her faring on, as dear
In love of there as the love of here;
Think of her as still the same, and say
She is not dead?she is just away!
Card of Thanks
