  • Name Janet WALKER?
    Gender Female
    Death Aft 10 Apr 1713
    Notes
    • (1) William FROST had a wife named Janet as of November 10, 1713, when he executed his will, and as of December 1, 1720, when his will was proven. The compiler has assumed that Janet was William's second wife. There can be no assurance that this assumption is correct.

      (2) This is a matter of speculation on the part of the compiler, but William FROST's wife, Janet, might have been the same person as the Janet WALKER who accompanied William FROST on the voyage from Scotland to East New Jersey in 1684. This speculation is based in part on the fact that James FROST, the son of William FROST's wife, Janet, was indentured to James WALKER on November 15, 1692 for a term of 13 years. That James WALKER might have been the same person as the James WALKER who was imported from Scotland to East New Jersey by Thomas GORDON in 1684.

      (3) Notes 4, 5 and 6 below relate to the Janet WALKER who accompanied William FROST on their voyage from Scotland to East New Jersey in 1684. However, there can be no assurance that she was the same person as William FROST's wife, Janet.
