Feb. 25, 1681; m. Ann, dau. of Stephen and Sarah (Phillips) Mighill of Rowley, Apr. 4, 1706. She was b. in Rowley, Mar. 8, 1685-6, and d. May 31, 1764. They were dismissed from Rowley church to Groton, Dec. 4, 1715. He rem. to Lunenburgh about 1726, and to Winchendon as early as 1754. He was a soldier in Capt. Lovewell's Company, 1725. He was an active business man, judging from the Histories of Groton, Lunenhurgh, "Ipswich Canada," etc. In 1739 he was "of a new Township lately granted by the General Court to the Canada soldiers lying in the Co. of Worcester, Prov. Mass. Bay." See Deed 21, 220, Alfred, Maine. "Benoni Boynton of Rowley was to build a vessel or sloop for John Smith of Boston, and was to have two hundred pounds good and lawful money of said Province, Anno Dom. May 1, 1713." He d.
