DeWolfe Jr., rector, officiated at the wedding. Miss Jane Lemon of New York City and Mrs. John Snyder were the bride's honor attendants. Bridesmatrons were Mrs. Preston Edwards of Universal City and Mrs. William A. Brackett. Dallas J. Trandses Jr. of Dallas was best man. Ushers were William B. Romer of Richardson, Richard A. Horner of Fort Worth, Don E. Fizer, James F. Deegan and August H. Plate, all of Houston. The bride wore a gown of ivory silk satin and Belgian lace designed with vertical rows of pin tucking on the bodice and bishop sleeves. A round yoke of lace accentuated the high band collar. The softly gathered skirt termi-nated in a chapel train. Her veil of princess lace, which had been her mother's wedding veil, extended beyond the train's length. A reception was given at Rivercrest Country Club. The couple will reside at 4100 Greenbriar in Houston, where the bride is a member of the faculty of the University of Houston, and the bridegroom is associated with his father in the firm of Horner & Smith. The bride attended Smith College and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She received her M.A. from the University of Houston. She was presented by The Assembly and was honored by the Steeplechase Club. A provisional member of the Junior League of Houston, she also is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Omicron Delta Epsilon, honorary economics fraternity, and the Barnaby Club. The bridegroom attended Princeton University and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
