Born about 1765 of Johnston County, North Carolina. Married 13 AUG 1795 Martha Elizabeth SPICER in Johnston County, North Carolina. She was born about 1778 of Johnston County, North Carolina the daughter of Joseph SPICER and Mary FITZPATRICK. John HAYLES died 9 MAR 1852 at Oglethorpe, Clarke County, Georgia. Martha Elizabeth SPICER died 1851 in Jackson County, Georgia.
