- (1) Elizabeth Ann Grubb:
NOTES:
Nothing was known of this, the first child, of George and Mary BEEHLER until compiler's husband found the "BUEHLER" data on GenServ, a genealogy web site in Dec., 1997.
William HASSENPLUG, the submitter of this family data, records Mary as having been the first of the BEEHLER children. Since Mr. HASSENPLUG never responded to e-mail requests to exchange data, compiler has not been able to find out his sources of data on the family. It is suspected, however, that William, a nephew of Mabel (HASSENPLUG) BROWN, has inherited her research and files.
In correspondence with both Wilma (MOW) FOLTZ and Margarett (STICKLER) STEININGER, compiler was told that Mabel HASSENPLUG had done extensive work on the BEEHLER family. After Mabel's death, however, the whereabouts of her files was unknown. Compiler suspects that Mabel's nephew may have that material.
In the data submitted to GenServ, Mr. HASSENPLUG gives only Mary "BUEHLER's" birth, death data and the date and identity of her spouse. After discovering that Mary was the child of George and Mary BUEHLER, compiler realized that a listing for the "BEEHLER, Mary and GRAEBER, Charles" marriage was included in the photocopy of pages from a marriage index for Fulton County, IN, owned by compiler. Records for this marriage exist in the Marriage Books housed at the Fulton County Clerk's Office in Rochester, IN.
