Benjamin Adamson Jr was born on 3 March 1820 in Fayette Co., Ohio. He was born on 5 March 1820. He died on 24 June 1885 at the age of 65 in Pratt Co., Kansas. My Guess is that Benjamin and son died and were buried at IOOF cemetery in Iuka, Pratt Co. KS
Then PERHAPS after she moved back to Iowa, Mary had a marker set for her husband and son as a memorial. I doubt that she had the remains moved, but we will never know without seeing cemetery and burial records.
Benjamin was buried after 24 June 1885 in Pratt Co., Kansas. My Guess is that Benjamin and son died and were buried at IOOF cemetery in Iuka, Pratt Co. KS

Benjamin Adamson Jr and Mary "Rachel" Campbell were married on 26 March 1846 in Lee Co., Iowa. Mary "Rachel" Campbell was born in 1825 in Tennessee. She was born on 13 September 1825 in Indiana. She died on 12 April 1897 at the age of 72 in Centerville, Appanoose Co., Iowa. Rachel was buried after 12 April 1897 in Centerville, Appanoose Co., Iowa. She was buried in Oakland Cemetery. . . .
Benjamin Adamson Jr and Mary "Rachel" Campbell had the following children:
