McCosh, 94, of Winfield, died Friday December 23, 2005 at the Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield. The daughter of Conrad and Alice (Miller) Eyler, she was born February 19, 1911 at Hillsboro, Iowa. On June 17, 1933 she married Leland McCosh, who died February 2, 1984. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Iowa Wesleyan College and the Chillicothe Business College in Chillicothe, Missouri. She worked for several years as a bookkeeper for Bunker Welding in Winfield. She was a member of the Winfield United Methodist Church; Pi Beta Phi; Chapter P. T.T.T.; was a charter member of the Henry County Hospital Auxiliary and the Sunrise Terrace Auxiliary. Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Kathryn (Molly) Clause and husband Tom of Winterset, Iowa; one son, Charles Arthur (Chuck) McCosh and wife Pat of Dayton, Ohio; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; one niece Wilma Wilson of Hillsboro, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant son and three brothers. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Winfield United Methodist Church, with Reverend Tom Connors officiating. Interment will follow at the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, where the family will meet with friends from 5-7:00 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Eden Fund at Sunrise Terrace Care Center.
