      Brother John Frost was born in Hamilton County, Ohio, July 28, 1821, A.D. Came to Lee County near Ft. Madison. He confessed his faith and was baptized by James R. Ross and united with the Lost Creek Church in 1840, A.D. He was married to Lucinda Parks. He removed with his family to Appanoose County where he lived until death. He died at his son's J. R. Frost, Jan. 10, 1891. He leaves a wife and four children, two sons and two daughters.
