(1) Unknown newspaper, September 25, 1913:
The marriage of Miss Katherine Christensen and Mr. Oilver [sic] Tibbetts, of Monmouth, was solemnized at the parsonage of the First Methodist church yesterday afternoon at four o'clock, by Rev. Eugene Allen. Mrs. Frank Tibbetts, a sister of the bride, and Miss Nellie Tibbetts, a sister of the groom, were the attendants. The bride was handsomely gowned in white charmeuse over white satin, and carried a shower bouquet of roses. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Tibbetts drove to the home of the bride's mother on Orchard street, where a dinner was served. Following this, they left for the north on a honeymoon trip. The bride's going away gown was a brown tailored suit and hat. Upon their return they will be at home to their friends on a farm near Yarmouth. Owing to recent bereavement in the groom's family, the wedding was a very simple one.
