      In the name of God Amen I Benjamin Marchant of Cheam in the County of Surry Innholder being of Sount and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding Praised be God do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say: ffirst I do direct that my Executor hereinafter named shall pay all such debts as I may owe at my decease and also my ffuneral Expences Also I give and bequeath unto my Brother James Marchant of Godstone Miller all my Household Goods and ffurniture (Except such part thereof as my Wife brought with her and which was agreed on our Marriage should be returned to her at my decease) And also all my Stock Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever which I shall die possessed of or intitled unto To hold the same unto my said Brother his Executors and Administrators he and they paying unto my Wife Ann Marchant the Annuity of Ten Pounds a year for her natural Life pursuant to our Marriage Settlement And I do nominate and appoint my said Brother James Marchant to be the Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty third day of March One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy three.
