Prince William County, VA was formed from King George and Stafford Counties, VA in 1730, and originally included all the territory now included in Prince William, Fairfax, Fauquier and Loudoun Counties, VA.

      (5) John BROWN and Hugh WEST, Sr. served as administrators of the estate of John FROST, who died before 17 March 1736 in Prince William County, VA. See Dorman, John, Prince William County, Virginia Will Book C, 1734-1744, Washington, DC: 1956, pp. 16-17, 18. John BROWN and Hugh WEST, Sr. were also brothers-in-law of each other, having married HARRISON sisters.
