      Wedding vows were exchanged at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 1959, in the First Christian Church when Miss Marcia Ellen Pfeiffer became the bride of Paul W. Brossman. The Rev. John S. Marvin, pastor, officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

      The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Pfeiffer. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Stanley B. Brossman Sr. of Lincoln, Pa. The church chancel was decorated with palms and baskets of white mums, flanked by lighted tapers in candelabra. White bows marked the pews and the aisle was laid with a white-runners. Nuptial music was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anglemyer, vocalists, accompanied the organ by Miss Brenda Nelson. Miss Karleen Richer also played cello selections.

      A gown of imported hand clipped Chantilly lace over ruffled tulle and taffeta was worn by the bride, who was given in marriage by her father. The bodice was styled with long tapered sleeves, punted waistline and a scalloped Sabrina neckline high lighted with iridescent sequins and seed pearls. The floor-length bouffant lace skirt swept to a chapel train on two scallop-edged lace tiers in the back. Her veil of imported silk illusion fell from a Mary Stuart cap of silk and Chantilly lace, trimmed in seed pears and sequins, with a pearldrop on the forehead. She carried an arrangement of pink sweetheart roses with streamers, on a white Bible.

      Mrs. Ramon Pfeiffer of Goshen, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a gown of net over taffeta with a velvet jacket and carried white mums and pompons. Mrs. Loren Begly of Goshen, Mrs. David Brossman of Ephrata, Pa. sister-in-law of the groom, and Mrs. Albert Heuer of Hebron, Illinois, were bridesmaids and Miss Kathleen Pfeiffer of Goshen, niece of the bride, Junior Bridesmaid. They all wore gowns of net over taffeta with velvet jackets in blending fall colors. They carried yellow mums and blending pompons. The flower girl, Miss Jane Pfeiffer of Goshen, another niece of the bride, wore a green velvet dress and carried a basket of rose petals. the ring-bearer was John Pfeiffer, also of Goshen, the bride's nephew. Stanley B. Brossman Jr. of Lincoln Pa., was best man. Groomsmen were Ramon Pfeiffer of Goshen, brother of the bride, David Brossman, of Ephrata, Pa., brother of the groom and Albert Heuer of Hebron, Illinois, Junior groomsman was Jack Nelson. The food guests were seated by Richard Trimmer of Claypool, Fred Riley, Robert Crowe, and Loren Begly of Goshen, William Wilmore of Elkhart, and Carl Dawalt of Columbus, Ohio. The reception was held at the Wakarusa school gym. The serving table was centered with an arrangement of bronze mums and pompons. The all-white wedding cake was cut by the bride and the groom.

      Those who served were Miss Barbara Pfeiffer, Mrs. Willard Wrightsman, Mrs. Robert Crowe, and Mrs. Byron Douma of Goshen, Miss Marge Meridith of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Philip Sutphin of College Park, Mr., and Mrs. Leroy Grabill and also Miss Maribeth Stouder, Miss Charlotte Weldy, Miss Nancy Letherman, Miss Glenwyn Horein, Mess Linda Leonard and Ruth Flory. The guest book was in charge of Mrs. Glen Smeltzer and the gift table was attended by Kim Richter of Elkhart, Mrs. Leon Fredericks of Ionia, Michigan; Mrs. Eugene Geyer of South Bend and Grant Anglemyer.

      The couple will reside on Elkhart Route 5 after their return October 17 from a trip in eastern states. The bride was graduated from Wakarusa High School and is employed by the LaBour Co., Indiana. Her husband is employed by the William Z. Getz Co.
