      Obituary

William M Frost was born March 18, 1884, near Unionville, Mo; and died at the Methodist hospital, Des Moines, IA., Saturday May 27, 1922, being 38 years, 2 months and 9 days old.

The passing of this good man from the home at 623 W. 12th St. has caused a real vacancy that cannot be filled. Mr. Frost was married to Minnie Forbes August 14, 1912, in Des Monies, IA. In this home there are three children, besides the bereaved widow, who mourn the death of this good man. They are in order of age as follows: Hazel, who is now married; Roy and Gladys. There are also two grandchildren.

Mr. Frost is survived by three sisters and one brother; Nannie Korns and Allie Shirley, both of Unionville, Mo., Fannie Bradshaw and Jim Frost both of Oklahoma.

Mr. Frost has been in the employ of transfer companies most of his life, although at the time of his death he was working for a municipal water plant of Des Moines, where he was appreciated for his manhood and the faithfulness with which he did his duty. Mr. Frost was a true husband and may God give us in these days more men, who shall hold true to the marriage bond. No man could have won the affection of children more than he had the love of the children who grew up in his home.

Mr. Frost was a man of clean ideals and noble purposes, and we feel that though he is called Home to rest at a comparatively early time in life, that he leaves behind a good name and a love from his dear wife that shall tell today and every day of the hope that is held out to all who like him are true to the best that they know and can feel. We are glad then, that we believe that he did believe in the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. We shall rest the destiny of our brother in the hands of a great God of love, and shall look toward that time when partings shall be no more. May it be said that the special nurse, Miss Hornaday, and Miss Watson, were especially kind to this good man while in his last illness, as was also the night nurse, Miss Wright, who shall all know some day, also, the gratitude of God for such human kindness given to one of God's own children.

Funeral services were conducted by the writer at the Newlan undertaking parlors at 2 P.M. Wednesday, May 31, 1922. The remains were taken to the Glendale cemetery; followed by a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends where it was tenderly laid away. The beautiful floral offering showed the high esteem in which he was held.
