Susannah FRENCH has not been proven to have been the same person as Susannah, the wife of Benjamin BLOOMFIELD. The marriage shown here is based on circumstanial evidence.

Benjamin BLOOMFIELD was married to a woman named Susannah, and Benjamin and Susannah had a daughter, Phebe, who was the wife of Henry BEEKMAN.

Phebe BEEKMAN, the wife of Henry BEEKMAN, was the recipient of a bequest in the amount of ??10 made by Susannah FRENCH's brother, William FRENCH, in his will dated April 13, 1776 and proved February 27, 1784.

Although the nature of the relationship between William FRENCH and Phebe BEEKMAN is not specified in William's will, the compiler believes that William was probably Phebe's uncle, and that Phebe's mother was probably Susannah FRENCH. However, there can be no assurance that the compiler's belief is correct.
